If you missed out on getting a PlayStation 30th Anniversary DuelSense wireless controller last year, you’ll want to set your reminders for next week. PlayStation announced via a Facebook post that “highly limited quantities” of the hard-to-get controller will be available for preorder July 21 for PlayStation Plus members and July 23 for everyone else.
This batch of 30th Anniversary DuelSense controllers can be preordered exclusively on PlayStation Direct beginning at 7:00 a.m. (PDT) on both July 21 and 23. The limited edition controllers will then ship out when the launch window officially kicks off on September 9.
Additionally, PlayStation UK is also throwing in limited quantities of the 30th Anniversary PS5 Digital Edition Console Bundle and PlayStation Portal. All 30th Anniversary gear features the sleek, and iconic, grey color scheme of the original PlayStation, and even includes the retro PlayStation logo that once served as PlayStation controller home button.
The PlayStation 30th Anniversary DuelSense wireless controller originally released back in September 2024. Needless to say, it was an absolute pain for many fans to get in a world filled with scalpers. Hopefully, with PlayStation Plus members getting first dibs on preorders, more of these controllers go to people who truly appreciate them.
